I’m currently making my mind up about the fundamentals of my political beliefs, and I hope you can help me shed light on a few issues.

In a truly voluntaryist society, is it not true that voluntary worker-syndicalism within an individualist framework will prevent situations of exploitation occuring (ie wage slavery)?

The immediate rejection of market-anarchism from those on the ‘left’ of the spectrum [anarcho-commies/syndicalists) is what I cannot truly get my head around.

On an ethical level, I cannot help but call myself voluntaryist/libertarian before anarchist; because individual liberty is the only thing worth fighting for in my mind.

Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Very good shows so far guys! Engaging and informative.Kudos to the 3 of you.
I am a libertarian socialist and appreciate the focus
on wage slavery/Chomsky on your youtube channels and here. Anything Chomsky,Zinn,or Parenti are at the tops of my lists.
There are so many 15 year old Ayn Rand fans droning on about how great wage slavery is on youtube and you guys drop some knowledge on these “anarcho-capitalist” twerps.
I have a question for Mr1001nights and Buddhagem:
I have been reading alot of C.L.R. James and most(if not all) of what he wrote on imperialism(esp. U.S.) still holds true. What anti-imperialist criticisms do you find helpful and more pertinent to our times? And which forms of anti-imperialism are harmful to our anarchist movements?(blind anti-Americanism for example?)I’m trying to take in all the anarchist views on the subject. Thanks.
    I am porkchopexpress07 on Youtube.

    Hey folks,

Great initiative! I’ve been low-on-you-tube for a while and then I found out you haven’t been sitting still eighter.

I’ve got some helpfull crits by the way:
-I think it is usefull to put up the topics covered on every broadcast. This way people are more lured to listen what you have to say.

-I can make that banner you have on the top now (made with paint if I’m correc’t) a little more slick if you want.
If you want me to, feel free to e-mail me at It would be great if also the pics that are used could be sent along. Otherwise I’ll just have to manouvre a bit.

    Ciao and good luck!

As a frequent creator of articles I’d like to point out the potential usefulness of wikinews as a way to get around the propaganda system.

For instance, right now there is extensive coverage of the factory occupations going on at the Vestas plant, as well as one in Ireland. Just yesterday I wrote a story about the occupation of the Ssangyong auto plant in South Korea. During the Gaza massacre I wrote about 5 articles reporting on terrible atrocities committed by Israel, which were published and viewed by thousands of people. Although, there is a lot of garbage, and the administrators are somewhat biased, this can be a very useful tool in my opinion.

Great shows. Now, a question and a comment:

Q: Wich is the best way to post questions and topic sugestions to the show ? (email contact ?)

C: I think the show be more interactive in that way, maybe with the use of a forum or some of social network tool/group.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you guys on the show. Unfortunately, I can only listen to you on the following day, so my comments come sort of late.
I would like to add few absolutely crucial facts which did not come out during discussion on the history of the Spanish Civil War (show from January 20, 2010). First of all we have to stress, that what took place in Spain was nothing less than anarchist revolution. Without that element, it would be war like many others. Murray Bookchin put it this way: “ It is not a myth but a sheer lie – to depict the Spanish Civil War as a mere prelude to world war II, an alleged conflict between “democracy and fascism.” Not even world War II deserves the honor of this ideological characterization. Spain was seized by more than a civil war: it was in the throes of a profound social revolution.”
Also one of the callers mention, that fascist were sort of proficient idiots – disciplined and not thinking, while anarchists tend to hold too many opinions, and perhaps of this they were weaker. Anarchist can claim spectacular successes during that war, but successes of working people scared every power. Western democracies, Stalinists, and democratic government of Republic (not to mention fascists). Having that many enemies, they could not win. Anarchist were not defeated by fascist, they were stabbed in the back by communists, another important fact not mention during the show. They were disarmed by communist (communists had all the weapons from Soviet Union), jailed or simply killed. Members of International Brigades killed anarchist and POUM leaders ( Carlo Bernieri, and Andres Nin were assassinated). “ Communist execution squads were wandering over battlefields after troops had pushed forward and were killing wounded anarchosyndicalist with their characteristic black-and –red insignia.”
I hope subject of Spanish Civil War will come out in the future. It is important to realize, that anarchists society created in that time was successful and functioning and failed only because of assault from outside.
P.S. Quotations are from the book of Murray Bookchin “To Remember Spain.”

The youtube videos from the three of you had a big effect on my thinking.

After watching them, I started thinking of how to form movements which are non-hierarchical to the core.

Here’s an article I wrote that describes a strategy to build a national scale movement
that needs no help from any concentrated power:

Thanks for all the work you guys are doing!
